Press Operator

Nesco Resource is hiring for a 1st shift press operator located in Laurens SC

This position is responsible for the storage, loading, and unloading of finished goods in the warehouse.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working knowledge of

  all

  equipment, machinery, procedures, processes, and paperwork within the Press department
• KBA Sheetfed Press Operator experience is required.
• Must be prepared to pass a Color Aptitude test (if requested)
• Setup: Preparing the press, ink, rollers, and paper
• Checking the quality of the print, such as alignment, ink coverage, and density
• Identifying and fixing issues that arise during the operation
• Submitting reports on daily production totals and informing supervisors of any issues
• Continuous attention to detail required constant alertness, activity, and shade/color variance determinations.
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs
• Keeping the work area clean and organized
