Senior Solutions Analyst

Our Solutions Analysts work with Product teams, Project teams, Operations teams, and Agile Engineering teams to define and deliver software and content that will enhance customer research capabilities. In this role you will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand priorities and requirements, and collaborate with Engineering and others to design, document, and implement solutions to meet these needs.

Develop relationships with business stakeholders and gain a thorough understanding of their needs.Participate in annual planning, quarterly planning, release or sprint planning, user acceptance testing, and other Agile delivery processes. Communicate clear recommendations about priorities and trade-offs.Lead discussions with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, QA, UX, architecture and delivery managers, to communicate and clarify requirements. Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.Collaborate with delivery teams to design and document a work breakdown for planning. Define clear and testable acceptance criteria and work with Engineering, QA and stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet the specified requirements and are free of defects.Create and maintain detailed Agile-oriented artifacts for proposed solutions throughout the development lifecycle including, but not limited to: functional and non-functional specifications, system or process flows, data models, wireframes, and user stories.Assist with user documentation, user acceptance testing, user communications, and user training as needed.Ensure change management and communication of change is done in a systematic way for projects where initial requirements may evolve during the lifecycle of a project.Assist in coordinating smaller projects as needed.Build and maintain awareness of initiatives across the portfolio to help identify synergies and opportunities.About the Team
This team sits within a big content org for our A&G segment, and you will be supporting development teams who build the systems that are used to create the content in our academic products. Our Solutions Analysts have some technical grounding and enjoy learning about new technologies to converse with engineers and help translate in conversations between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Hours of Work
Full-time permanent position primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as neededHybrid position working 2-3 days/week on-site
