Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Assesses patient/family health problems and resources and takes a leadership role in the development implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for critical nursing care. Provides professional intensive nursing care and interventions to critically ill patient population(s). This position requires providing service to one or more age groups including ill children through geriatric patients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the Organizations strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).

Minimum Requirements:

Graduate of an RN School of NursingCurrent California RN LicenseCurrent BLS Certification through American Heart Association (AHA)One (1) year recent inpatient or outpatient operating room nursing experience or equivalent to one (1) year procedural experience (IE, IR, Endo, Cath Lab) continous.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsComputer LiteracyPreferred:

Bachelor degree in health or related fieldOne year acute care experience. Completion of a Perioperative 101 (Or equivalent) course of study or two (2) years recent inpatient operating room nursing experience.PONCNOR
