Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of annual and long-term financial plans, forecasts, and budgets.
- Collaborate with various departments to analyze and interpret financial results and forecasts.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision making related to complex business issues including valuation, profitability, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support, including variance analysis, and trend reporting.
- Prepare comprehensive and detailed reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences including senior management.
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP accounting principles in all financial transactions and reporting.
- Drive process improvements for more efficient and streamlined reporting tools.
- Provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers.
- Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling with a solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, and related financial areas.
- In-depth understanding of SEC regulations and reporting requirements.
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey financial information and concepts to non-financial partners.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset to anticipate and resolve issues.
- Team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a strong desire to learn and succeed.
