We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our thriving team. This role is crucial to our organization's success, as you will be responsible for driving the sales team to achieve their targets, while also growing and maintaining relationships with key clients. If you are a motivated, results-driven individual with a passion for sales and a deep understanding of the building industry, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and exceed expectations.
  2. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in assigned territories.
  3. Initiate and control budgets for sales promotion and trade show expenses.
  4. Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  5. Conduct regular sales meetings to assess the team's performance and provide feedback.
  6. Use your expertise in cold calling, prospecting, and lead generation to identify new business opportunities.
  7. Manage and maintain a detailed and accurate sales pipeline and forecast.
  8. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop lead generation strategies.
  9. Implement a sales training or coaching program to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
  10. Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting to the management team.
  11. Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a sales manager or similar senior sales role.
  2. Proficiency in managing territory sales, B2B sales, and prospecting is a must.
  3. Experience in cold calling and meeting sales quotas.
  4. Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Experience in the commercial supply, building materials sales, and capital equipment sectors is a plus.
  6. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  7. Strong business sense and industry expertise in the finance sector.
  8. Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  9. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  10. A degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field.
