Trainer/Technical Scribe

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

HHS Technology Group is seeking a

Trainer/Technical Scribe

to play a crucial role in our rapid growth and success. The

Trainer/Technical Scribe

ensures the delivery of our product training as well as the development of clear, concise content and media for training activities and end user education. The Trainer is responsible for assisting with the generation of the training plan and content and offering solutions for process improvements in training documentation.

In addition to Training responsibilities the

Trainer/Technical Scribe

is responsible to documenting and summarizing key discussions, decisions, and action items during various meetings within high level projects within the organization. This individual will be responsible for capturing accurate and comprehensive meeting minutes to facilitate communication, collaboration, and accountability among team members.

This role will be based in our Fort Lauderdale Headquarters located at 6600 N. Andrews Ave. Suite 570, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 and may require occasional travel to Tallahassee FL.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver high-quality training and end-user education to our customers
  • Take direction from and work closely with the Training Lead and the Project Managers
  • Assist with creating, developing and executing the training plan
  • Collaborate with the training and project team when requirements demand multiple staff
  • Create and develop training documentation templates based on project directives and requirements, standardizing and applying sound formatting to documents, and producing concise, understandable, audience-specific content
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) when creating and assisting with the design and implementation of the training plans, curricula, learning resources, visual aids and presentations by providing real-world, hands-on scenarios to help transfer classroom knowledge to workplace functions
  • Create, and assist with creating training content for various media: virtual training, e-learning, classroom training, etc.
  • Assist program personnel with creating training documents such as user manuals, technical user guides, and quick reference guides; provide supporting course materials such as hands-on exercises and after-action evaluation reports
  • Use best practices in training and instructional design to produce content that caters to various learning styles
  • Work with technical and non-technical staff to gather pertinent information and format it into usable written materials for training purposes
  • Prepare clear, concise, and accurate meeting minutes promptly after each meeting, ensuring that all relevant information is captured.
  • Meeting minutes shall be created using the appropriate meeting templates provided and in accordance with the Program Style and Writing Guide.
  • Organize and maintain a centralized repository for meeting minutes, making them easily accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Meeting minutes are required to be distributed to attendees and stakeholders within a maximum of 48 hours following the meeting via email with a link to the meeting minutes.
  • Demonstrate commitment to providing customer-focused quality service
  • Perform other relevant duties, based on experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience in training creation and delivery
  • At least three (3) of those five (5) years must be training delivery of Train-the-Trainer
  • Three (3) or more years of demonstrated experience in training delivery of MMIS systems or components, preferably Provider Management
  • Three (3) or more years of demonstrated experience in using the various platforms within the MS Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word etc.)
  • Three (3) or more years of demonstrated experience in delivering training materials
  • Follow up provision of electronically provided training materials for ongoing, continued learning
  • Post-training session survey analysis with improvements implemented ahead of the next session
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to effectively use the MS Office Suite
  • Demonstrated knowledge of course development and documentation software and tools (i.e. Captivate, Snagit)
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering training for complex technical software development and implementation projects
  • Demonstrate ability to use video capture software
  • High aptitude for translating complex technical content into a format that is easily understandable by audiences of differing technical foundations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders; must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources
  • Technical writing experience or technical background required.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
