Seeking a Director of Marketing for a design, engineering and manufacturing company focused on low-power wireless telecommunications, payment processing systems, intelligent data management and SaaS technologies. The Director of Marketing will drive strategic direction and oversee the execution of comprehensive marketing plans to enhance brand awareness, achieve business objectives, and solidify the company's position as an industry leader. This role is pivotal in aligning marketing efforts with overall company goals, managing the brand across various channels, and delivering impactful campaigns that resonate with the target audience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives. Conduct market research to uncover insights, trends, and competitive landscape.

Brand Management: Enhance and manage the organization’s brand across all channels, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning. Position the brand as an industry leader, building and maintaining its reputation.

Campaign Development: Lead the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social media, print, etc.) from concept to completion.

Public Relations & Communications: Oversee all company communications and external brand presence. Manage reputation, establish thought leadership, and ensure consistent and strategic messaging.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing environment.

Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources for optimal return on investment.

Performance Analysis: Use analytics and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven adjustments to maximize performance.

Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with sales, product, and other departments to align marketing initiatives and support cross-functional objectives.

Market Trends: Stay informed of industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities to drive innovation and growth.

Capabilities:

Marketing Plan Development: Create a cohesive, turnkey marketing plan with research-backed strategies and clear execution paths.

Branding: Lead both full and partial rebranding efforts, from logo design to style guides, ensuring all brand elements reflect the company’s vision.

Social Media Management: Manage brand presence across all social media platforms, including content calendar creation, posting, monitoring, and audience engagement.

Paid Advertising: Develop and manage targeted paid advertising campaigns, leveraging audience demographics and interests to maximize reach and engagement.

Local Listings Management: Ensure all local listings (Yelp, Google, etc.) reflect a cohesive brand presence, actively monitoring and engaging with customer interactions.

Content Creation: Oversee the creation of digital assets (images, gifs) for social media and email campaigns.

Email Marketing: Develop and maintain an email marketing database, implement segmentation strategies, and distribute targeted e-blasts with custom content.

Community Outreach & Partnerships: Identify and leverage partnerships to enhance brand presence in the community, creating opportunities for engagement and growth.

Customer Relationship Management: Create strategies to strengthen client relationships, drive referrals, and foster long-term loyalty.

Public Relations: Manage relationships with media outlets, craft and distribute press releases, and handle influencer and media relations for news coverage opportunities.

Position Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

7+ years of experience in Marketing or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.

Experience managing outsourced marketing groups.

Strong background in brand development, B2B marketing and lead generation.

Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales enablement tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.

Proven track record of improving marketing processes and driving performance metrics.

Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
