The Opportunity
GrowthLoop is pioneering a new category of AI on the data cloud to power marketing campaigns that directly lead to impact in a way enterprise CMOs have never seen before. We are looking for a sharp, creative, strategic, and hands-on product marketing leader who knows firsthand how impactful category creation can be for a company. This person will lead the way to bring GrowthLoop's new category to life in 2025.
This senior position will partner with our VP of Marketing, VP of Sales, CEO, and broader GTM team to design the category, refine positioning and messaging, and build the narrative that brings it to life. This person will then have the opportunity to inspire and train our sales team, as well as work alongside marketing on thought leadership, content, and community building to ignite the market.
This person's partners in crime are our Senior Product Marketing Manager and Content Marketing Manager. Together they will craft an exceptional story in the market and work together to establish GrowthLoop as the category leader.
What You'll Do
Category Definition & Leadership:
Lead the initiative to define and own a new category that combines AI and the data cloud to inspire a new way of driving growth, and then positioning GrowthLoop as the market leader in this rapidly evolving space.
Product Positioning, Messaging, and Narrative:
Develop and refine GrowthLoop's core product message and positioning to resonate with our target audience, including both marketing and data leaders. Ensure our message is clear, differentiated, works up and down enterprise leadership, and is tightly aligned with our overall business objectives. This person will build a powerful core narrative that must flex for a variety of purposes, as well as be able to simplify it to fit the context without losing the nuance and power of the message.Messaging Enablement and Consistency:
Make sure our messaging and storytelling work is properly disseminated across the team and gets stronger through simplicity, repetition, and amplification. GrowthLoop's core message and narrative should be impactful across all channels within marketing, sales, customers, and more.
Market Research:
Tap the analyst community, market research, and the customer base to develop and refine ICPs and personas to align GTM across sales and demand generation efforts.
Competitive Intelligence:
Assess the competitive landscape, delivering actionable insights that shape our strategy, as well as refine positioning and differentiation. Proactively anticipate industry trends, ensuring GrowthLoop remains a leader in innovation and maintains its competitive advantage.
Sales Enablement:
Develop tools, resources, and training that empower our sales team to communicate GrowthLoop's unique value. Create narratives that are compelling and drive urgency throughout the sales process.
Content Creation & Storytelling:
Drive the creation of high-impact content, including presentations, case studies, product collateral, blog posts, and web copy. A key component of this role will be articulating complex technical concepts in a clear, engaging, and persuasive manner.
What We Look For
10+ years of product marketing experience, with many of those years in a product marketing leadership role, directed at enterprise SaaS industries and ideally within the marketing technology space.
Proven success in leading and scaling product marketing in complex, fast-paced organizations, ideally at a similar size and stage of growth.
A deep understanding of category creation and competitive differentiation. You have successfully built, launched, or transformed product categories in competitive markets - perhaps even more than once!
Able to craft compelling narratives and simplify complex technical ideas for various audiences, from technical decision-makers to marketing leaders to C-suite executives.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Highly strategic, with the ability to thrive in dynamic environments. You can anticipate market shifts, uncover key opportunities, and pivot when necessary.
Has closely collaborated with Sales teams, contributed to sales enablement efforts, and can quantify the pipeline generated through product marketing efforts.
The estimated base salary for this role is $180,000 - $200,000 USD. The total compensation will also include a meaningful variable component and equity in the company. Final base salary decisions will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors unique to each candidate, such as the individual's skill set, depth of experience, and qualifications.
