You are a skilled IT/Security Engineer with a passion for safeguarding information systems and ensuring the integrity of company data, networks, and infrastructure. With a solid foundation in IT and cybersecurity, you are adept at risk management, incident response, and vulnerability assessment. You thrive in a role where you're the go-to expert for IT-related issues, from authentication and access control to troubleshooting employee devices. Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and protocols.Monitor and analyze internet traffic for suspicious activity and potential threats.Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.Respond to security or IT incidents, conduct investigations, and provide recommendations for remediation.Manage and maintain security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software.Ensure compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001.Manage MDM solutions for employee devices and ensure they meet the company's standards.Provide training and support to staff on security best practices and awareness.Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.Maintain G-Suite and other applications as needed.What you have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.3+ years of experience in IT and cybersecurity roles.Strong knowledge of security principles, protocols, and technologies.Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and antivirus software.Proficiency in network and system administration.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards, such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Google G-Suite.Supporting a remote working environment and diverse timezones.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Why join Polly?
