Your work will impact the customer experience of Amazon DynamoDB, a key-value and document database that delivers single-digit millisecond performance at any scale. Companies in the gaming vertical use DynamoDB in all capabilities of game platforms, including game state, player data, session history, and leaderboards. Many companies in the retail space use common DynamoDB design patterns to deliver consistently low latency for mission-critical use cases.

- 5+ years of design experience- 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer- Have an available online portfolio- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs- Experience in visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides- Experience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, or similar- Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
