About the job
In this role, you are responsible for the execution of all Janie and Jack organic social media channels on a day-to-day basis in accordance with the overall seasonal story-telling and commercial planning. You will develop and execute organic social campaigns for Janie and Jack. You will also be responsible for developing and executing seasonal influencer campaigns. The ideal candidate should be an avid user of social media, have previous experience turning fans into brand ambassadors, and identifying and working with digital influencers.
What you’ll do
Social Content and Planning
Develop, execute and manage social media strategy and marketing campaigns across social channels including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Tik Tok
Work closely with design, merchants, web, and email to ensure integrated marketing approach
Curate the brand's Instagram cadence, pulling photography and graphics from seasonal campaigns, user-generated content, event recaps, and more
Collaborate daily with copy and design partners to execute on strategy
Project manage creative teams to plan content and assure assets are delivered in a timely manner
Assist with content creation including but not limited to video editing and photo cropping
Schedule, create tracking links, and manually post social content as needed (including weekends as needed)
Curate UGC library for email and social content
Read, respond and engage with followers’ comments on social media channels, working closely with customer service team to provide excellent customer experience
Monitor Social & Reporting
Create weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly social media recaps highlighting KPI (i.e. follower growth, engagement rate, top/bottom post)
Provide recommendations on how to continuously improve and analyze effectiveness of social media marketing strategies
Be the subject matter expert, research competitors and industry leaders in social media. Have a constant eye on social media trends and technologies. Liaise with social networks and agencies
Monitor non-proprietary JJ fan groups and report findings
Influencer Campaign Management
Foster and build relationships with digital influencers to activate in support of larger social media marketing strategies and marketing campaigns.
Manage paid influencer agency campaigns from briefs to content approvals to reporting
Coordinate all product requests for influencers
Responsible for influencer expense and vendor management
Social coverage of PR and marketing events
What you’ll bring
BA or BS required (Marketing, Business, Communications, English, or related field a plus)
5+ years of social media marketing experience with corporate brand or agency experience a plus.
Strong level of proficiency with social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, and Facebook Business Manager and other social planning and reporting tools. (Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop)
Strong project management skills
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to build internal and external relationships
Strong verbal and written skills
