They work with a wide range of clients in the Cleveland market and are looking for an experienced Tax Accountant to join their team. If you bring at least 3+ years of experience with 1040, 1120, 1120S and 1065's, we'd love to talk to you.
The ideal candidate has their Bachelor's in Accounting and is CPA eligible. You should have a strong background in financial statement preparation, auditing and reviewing, compilations and workpapers.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Tax Senior Accountant for our growing firm. This position is more than just crunching numbers; it's about providing strategic tax planning and ensuring compliance with various federal, state, and local tax laws. Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns (1040, corporate, non-profit, estate, trusts, and partnership returns).
- Conducting thorough tax research and planning to optimize tax strategies for clients.
- Analyzing financial statements and reports for discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
- Providing guidance on tax implications of business investments and transactions.
- Assisting in federal, state, and local tax audits and resolving tax notices.
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax law and regulations and communicating the implications to clients and team members.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Tax Senior Accountant position, you must possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in tax preparation and planning, with a strong understanding of tax code, compliance, and procedures.
- Proficiency in tax software and technology, with experience in preparing 1040 and other tax returns.
- Exceptional skills in conducting tax research and implementing tax strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and analyze financial statements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
