Job Summary: The Sanitation Technician Lead Associate's primary responsibility will be to lead all aspects of the Sanitation department.The Sanitation Technician Lead will oversee the daily scheduling for the Sanitation Department, and keep a master sanitation schedule for the Trademark facility. The Sanitation Technician Lead will be responsible for maintaining, and keeping records of all of the sanitation work completed. Must be bilingual. Essential Duties: Assist the Supervisor with oversight of the sanitation schedule In conjunction with the Supervisor, produces daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for the sanitation team Assists the Supervisor with responsibility for uniforms and chemical contract with Cintas Assists with training all of the sanitation personnel Assists with the ordering all of the supplies and personal protective equipment and keep inventory records of all of the supplies, and personal protective equipment. Oversee compliance of all federal state and guidelines in regards to chemical control and sanitation procedures for food industries Effectively communicate with all departments Comply with all food safety, and general safety laws and regulations Attend all applicable meetings and trainings Display a professional attitude Attend all applicable meetings and trainings Enforce and comply with all of Elite Spice's policies, procedures, general safety, and food safety guidelines Enforce and follow all Good Manufacturing Practices Perform any other tasks as directed by your Supervisor Qualifications Ability to be organized and follow up on tasks Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner Possess interpersonal skills, leadership skills, problem-solving skills, and time management skills Strong communication skills Ability to work in a team setting and independently Proficient with Microsoft word, excel, outlook, PowerPoint, adobe reader/acrobat Knowledgeable in chemical safety Maintain a forklift license Tools, equipment, materials Computer Fax machine Scanner/printer Multi-line phone Forklift/scissor lift Various size ladders Hand tools Knowledge of chemicals Physical demands Standing constantly Walking constantly Minimum lifting of 10 lbs. -Maximum lifting of 75lbs without assistance Lifting up to 100lbs with assistance, occasionally Bending/stooping constantly Pushing and pulling a minimum of 10lbs-maximum of 75lbs without assistance, constantly Pushing and pulling up to 100lbs with assistance, occasionally Twisting constantly Climbing constantly Balancing frequently Crouching constantly Kneeling constantly Crawling frequently Working at heights on a scissor lift Environment Constant exposure to dust and spices Occasional exposure to flames and water Constant exposure to extreme heat/extreme cold Possibility of exposure to chemicals and fumes (authorized personnel only: must have proper training on chemical control, and personal protective equipment) Constant exposure to vibrations and noise Constantly exposed to heights and uneven terrain
