Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a CNC Operator to join their team. As a CNC Operator, you will be part of the machining department supporting product development and application engineering projects/activities. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate within the technical community.

$18 to $25 p/h W-2 depending upon experience
What's the Job?
Operate a variety of manual and CNC machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and precision grinders to fabricate or modify metal, plastic or rubber parts, tools, or fixtures to exacting tolerances and dimensions.Read and interpret design schematics, CAD drawings, verbal instructions, and engineering specifications.Design jigs and templates as work aids in the fabrication of parts.Translate ideas into expertly crafted components ready for use in laboratory or industrial settings.Inspect parts for conformance using measuring instruments such as gages, calipers, micrometers, comparators, and magnification equipment.What's Needed?
Associates / Vocational / Trade degree or higher in a science or technical discipline -OR- High School Diploma/GED and three years of experience in one or more of the following areas: machining, tool and die making, or electromechanical systems design and/or technical support.CNC and manual machining experience.In-depth knowledge of metalwork and mechanical engineering.Strong math, problem solving, and analytical skills.Experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM) andCAD/CAM software experience is a plus.What's in it for me?
