**Job Description:**
- The nurse will work in the Surgical Services department during night shifts.- Expected patient-nurse ratios range from 1:3 to 1:5.- Nurses will not be required to work on weekends or be on call.- Block schedules are uncertain.- Flu vaccine requirement is currently unknown.- Nurses may be required to float between units and to nearby affiliated hospitals.- The facility type is Short Term Acute Care, with a capacity of 109 beds.- Scrub colors are provided, with any color acceptable in specific departments.- COVID-19 vaccination is required, with medical and religious exemptions allowed.- Travel nurses are expected to work 3 out of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.- Orientation hours are non-billable, and modules completed pre-start are self-reported.- A one-year reference covering employment within the last three years is necessary.- Communication devices will be provided if required for the assignment.

- Candidates must adhere to a 50-mile radius rule.- Background checks will be handled prior to submission, with any issues requiring approval.- Return staff must have a 3-month gap between permanent and travel assignments.- Completion of job-related modules should average 16 hours but are non-billable.- Commitment to limited requested time off is preferred to streamline approval.
