**Job Title:** Registered Nurse**Job Specialty:** Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks**Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15)**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week**Experience:** Open Heart Experience, Aortic/Mitral Valve Repair/Replacement Experience, Surgical Scrub Experience**License:** Active RN licensure in the State of Ohio**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS)**Must-Have:** Willingness to rotate shifts and units, ability to potentially assume Charge Nurse role
**Job Description:**- Provide specialized nursing care in the CVOR, assisting with open heart and hybrid vascular procedures.- Participate in a 13-week contract with a schedule of 36 hours per week, working 7:00 AM to 7:15 PM.- Be available for on-call duties 7-8 days per month, covering both weekdays post-shift until the next morning and 24-hour coverage on weekends and holidays.- Collaborate with the surgical team in a hybrid vascular room, and perform duties relating to aortic and mitral valve repair and replacement.- Ensure high standards of patient care and safety in the operating room.- Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations and uphold the highest levels of patient confidentiality and integrity.- Complete a 16-hour orientation to become familiar with unit-specific protocols and procedures.
