Job Description Overview:
This role is responsible for general accounting functions including preparing journal entries, maintaining account and bank reconciliations in accordance with GAAP, conduct monthly closings and account analysis. In order to reach the goal, you have to be sensitive to numbers, have excellent analytical skills, and have effective problem-solving skills to detect abnormity, so that potential mistakes can be avoided, and chances of improvement of business result and process can be identified.
Essential Functions :Prepare monthly journal entries accurately and timely.Assist in researching and resolving issues identified during month end close or daily operation according to company policy.Assist in fulfilling requests of external quarterly review and annual audit.Assist in monthly and quarterly expense review to ensure compliance with company expense policies.Maintain fixed asset related information and transactions according to managerial purpose.Participate in month end close such as but not limited to bank reconciliation, related party accounts, balance sheet reconciliation and other accounts reconciliation; reconcile monthly FA depreciation; review depreciation schedule for newly capitalized assets; assist with exchange rate analysis; assist with lease adjustment and reconciliation.Conduct annual FA physical count.Assist in working cross-functionally with other departments and ensure compliance with HQ internal control requirement, GAAP and tax regulation.Assist with special projects as required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Corporate accounts payable or accounts receivable experience.Proficient in MS office, especially excel (must be familiar different kinds of functions for analysis).Ability to set tasks, priorities and deadlines.High attention to detail.Strong organizational, interpersonal skills and ownership.Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsQualifications/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.Computer industry work experience is preferred.
$68,000 - $85,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
