A hospital in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Child Abuse Pediatrician to join its Child Protection Program.The Child Protection Program, established in 2004, provides comprehensive medical evaluations for suspected victims of abuse in the greater Philadelphia area. The current team includes two board-certified child abuse pediatricians, a dedicated social worker, a nurse, and support staff. Each year, the program conducts hundreds of medical evaluations for suspected physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect. These evaluations take place in inpatient settings, outpatient clinics, and the city's regional Child Advocacy Center. The team collaborates closely with local investigators to ensure timely communication of medical findings for each case. The program is also dedicated to educating medical trainees, including students, residents, and fellows. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in program development and education.
