Location:For Those Who Work At Home - Various, Ohio 44144As a Key Investment Services (KIS) professional, the KIS Investment Center Consultant will be responsible for a book of business of Key Investment Services clients. This person will proactively initiate dialogue with clients in order to enhance and expand their Key Investment Services relationship and improve client satisfaction by conducting portfolio reviews, offering financial advice, and selling investment products. Additionally, the KIS Investment Consultant will be a valuable partner to KeyBank branch team members, assisting customers with investment needs throughout the KeyBank branch network, and identifying cross selling opportunities for their partners across KeyBank's various lines of business.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Display consultative needs-based selling skills to build rapport, strengthen and expand Mass Market client relationshipsProactively and reactively engage clients for the purpose of effectively cross-selling KIS products and servicesPerform financial planning and periodic reviews of client portfoliosRecognize the implicitly-stated and explicitly-stated need for additional products and servicesKnowledgeably respond to and overcome client objections by offering solutions with optionsMaintain thorough knowledge and understanding of KIS products and servicesComplete the sale and application processes for products and servicesRecognize and effectively act upon client retention opportunitiesConsistently deliver distinctive client service that is knowledgeable, empathetic, patient, prompt, and courteousBuild rapport and strengthen client relationships while servicing client needsResearch and provide verification and documentation of client issues and resolutionAct as liaison for our clients to provide first call resolution by coordinating and following up with other departments or lines of business as appropriateMeet and exceed sales, accuracy, and efficiency goals while contributing to the overall sales success of the team, KIS, and KeyBankWork collaboratively in team environment to achieve team, department, and line of business commitmentsAdhere to established policies and procedures related to servicing, sales, regulatory compliance, quality, and sales client contact strategyDevelop a strong "center of influence" strategy that leverages partnerships with the Retail Bank.Act as peer partner to other KIS Investment Center Consultants, including those recently hiredBe an active and trusted "virtual" partner for KeyBank branch team membersServe as a trusted resource and partner for KeyBank Licensed BankersREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 3+ years investment sales, retail or telephone sales experience requiredFINRA Series 7, Series 66 (or Series 63 and Series 65) registrations and applicable Life/Health Insurance license (or able to obtain within 120 days of hire)Demonstrated success meeting established sales/referral minimum expectations, goals and other measurementsDemonstrated success in cross-selling, up-selling and sales referringStrong knowledge of financial products and servicesWork experience requiring multi-tasking and attention to detailDemonstrated success in problem solving and resolving client issues/concernsAbility to work in high pressure environmentExcellent phone communication skillsStrong interpersonal and written communication skillsComputer proficiency with knowledge and experience in Windows environmentKnowledge of financial services computer systemsHigh School Diploma or GEDPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bilingual (Spanish/English)Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related disciplineRetail bank broker-dealer sales experienceInbound or outbound phone sales and customer service experienceLeadership or coaching experienceCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:This position is eligible to earn a base hourly rate in the range of $26.00 to $31.00 per hour depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience.
