area. This is an entry level role at Flexport as Warehouse Associate you will perform steady and standard workload, The role includes performing various job roles in a rotation, reacting to lights and sounds should deviations occur, and communication with shift leads to ensure any deviations of product that are detected are reported in a timely manner.The role includes picking, packing, sorting shipping, and receiving of various products. Work Hours :PRIMARY FULLTIME SHIFTS - NIGHT SHIFT @ $19.50/HR9:00PM-6:00AM SUNDAY TO WEDNESDAY9:00PM-6:00AM MONDAY TUESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY9:00PM-6:00AM WEDNESDAY TO SATURDAYSHIFT DIFFERENTIAL OF 1.00 MORE PER HOUR FOR WORKING SATURDAY AND SUNDAYOption to transition to day schedule 7am-5pm or 8am-6pm after peak season ends at the end of DecemberDress Code
CASUAL Warehouse AttireProtective shoes: not required
Pay Range : 19.50
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and put away inventoryPack and ship orders according to customer specificationsLoad boxes into trucks for shipmentMaintain accurate inventory recordsScan and label inventory itemsOrganize and store inventory in a safe and efficient mannerTroubleshoot problemsOperate and maintain warehouse equipmentKeep the warehouse clean and organizedFollow all safety proceduresReport any safety hazards or concerns immediatelyCommunicate effectively with other warehouse team members
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or similar environmentLift up to 49 poundsPush utility cards up to 60 poundsUse carts, dollies, hand trucks and other gear to move items aroundGo up and down stairs (where applicable)Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)Strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to follow instructions and work safely
