The Department of Radiology at UPMC/University of Pittsburgh has one of the largestpediatric radiology services in the nation and is currently accepting applications for AcademicPediatric Radiologists specializing in non-neuro, non-interventional imaging. Duties for thisposition will consist of a mix of clinical, teaching, and research responsibilities. Applicants musthave an MD degree or equivalent, must be board-eligible or board-certified by the American Boardof Radiology, and be eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania. Pediatric Radiology fellowshiptraining is also required.The Division, based out of the new Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPand MC, consists ofhighly skilled, fellowship-trained pediatric radiologists who provide specialized imaging,diagnostic interpretation and offer cutting-edge interventional procedures. Children's, a 1.5million-square-foot facility located in the Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh, has consistentlyappeared in U.S. News & World Report, as well as Child magazine's pediatric hospital rankings.As one of the world's only green pediatric hospitals, Children's features private rooms, adramatic healing garden, and a research tower. In addition to services at the Children's, Divisionfaculty also cover neonates at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC and provide generalradiology services at Children's north, east, and south ambulatory care centers.Teaching opportunities include supervision and education of ACGME and advanced pediatricimaging fellows and residents from the University of Pittsburgh as well as additional affiliated,highly regarded residencies.
