Unit Information: TWHT NICUNumber of Beds – 146 (64 Level 3&4, 82 Level 2)Type of staff: Day Shift – 2 charge, nurses vary by census and acuity, clerk, nurse tech in L2; Night Shift – same as day shiftPatient Ratios – varies by acuity 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4Type of equipment – All NICU equipmentEMR – Meditech & CPNSkill Set Most recruited for: Must have - candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.Two years of NICU experienceInfant assessment, IV management, Respiratory support managementPreferred or nice to have – candidates with these skills will be considered first.Level 4 NICU experienceHCA experienceList typical procedures performed on unit(s): LP, central line placement, Circumcision, eye examsBest personality Fit: Strong communication skills, Great team mate, Focus on parent satisfaction and patient safetyJob Requirements
