Job Summary:
Client is seeking an experienced Siebel Admin/Developer with expertise in administrating and developing applications in Siebel CRM, particularly with Siebel IP17 and above.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Siebel Administration on both Windows and Linux platforms, developing customized solutions using eScript and VBScript.
This role involves maintaining production and lower environments, writing custom code, testing, and integrating Siebel applications with other systems.
The Siebel Admin/Developer will be part of a mission-critical software team, working to provide innovative solutions for complex problems.
Key Responsibilities:Design, install, configure, and administer Siebel applications across all environments.Coordinate migration activities, submit migration control documentation, and ensure smooth transition across environments.Collaborate with various Client's teams for connectivity, version/patch updates, upgrades, and database management.Review business requirements, conduct unit tests, and support integration testing.Provide operational support, including writing ad-hoc queries to assist business teams.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience in Siebel application development and administration, particularly Siebel IP17 or above.Proficiency in Siebel system installation and configuration on Windows and Linux operating systems using Oracle databases.Expertise in Siebel architecture and framework, including Gateway Server, Enterprise Server, Siebel Server, and Tomcat Server.Knowledge of performance tuning and debugging Siebel enterprise and server issues.Experience in developing customized solutions using eScript and VBScript, and Siebel EAI integrations (REST APIs, JMS).Working knowledge of Siebel authentication methods (LDAP, SSO, ADSI).Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with high-volume Siebel environments, Service Request/Activity modules, and Siebel performance tuning.Knowledge of global and local variable scope.
