Fincantieri Marinette Marine, a Fincantieri Marine Group Company, is a progressive shipyard specializing in building ships for the United States Navy. We currently have an opportunity for an Integration Lead at our Marinette, Wisconsin location.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Integration Lead is a senior-level Manager who has demonstrated experience as a senior level professional, a seasoned individual producer and/or working task leader who applies a comprehensive and in-depth working knowledge of financial/business concepts, contract management, policies, practices, processes and procedures to the management of ship design and construction programs. Successful candidates have examples of successful program or project management where they have worked independently, with minimal guidance of management. Errors at this level can cause significant delay, expense and/or disruption to the organization. The Program Integration Manager also prepares and maintains management control (financial/business planning and scheduling) processes and reporting for complex systems, programs, projects, and/or tasks to determine and maintain the most cost effective method of accomplishing work, identify and mitigate risks, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Position involves frequent, regular interaction with all levels of FFG's operations. Interfaces directly with the Assistant Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, Program Manager, Project Engineer, Lead Engineers, Purchasing Manager, Planning Manager, Designers, Drafters, Change Manager and Director of Production.Position may involve frequent, regulate interaction with all levels of FFG's operations/senior staff, customers regulatory bodies, and major suppliers.Prepares miscellaneous associated reports, charts and graphs on program, project or contract status and makes presentations to management to keep them apprised.Frequent ship checks and drawing reviews are necessary for the successful completion of job tasks.Have excellent written and verbal skills to interface with all levels of the organization through the attendance of meetings and written memos.Working supervision over other program staff in maintaining the most cost effective method of accomplishing work.Assists in preparation of a Manufacturing/Construction Plan that complies with the cost proposal and contract specifications.Provides assistance to technical/operations staff, coordinating efforts with contracts/subcontracts, corporate accounting and human resource staffs to assess impact of contract change notices, engineering change proposals, etc.Develops management control requirements for designated contracts, programs, projects and/or tasks. Analyzes and reviews all cost (time, materials, and equipment) information and data to ensure all phases of the statement of work are included.Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVMS) principles and practices (or equivalent Cost Schedule Statusing and reporting experience). Along with the significance of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) as it relates to EVMS.Assesses the financial impact of project status to budget. Prepares completion cost estimates (EACs), projections on funding, estimate on margins, and other planned reports.Monitors performance to Contracts, oversees contract compliance and negotiates contract change proposals with the Customer.Is a point-of-contact for the Customer, and responsible for Customer-Contractor relations.Makes decisions based on input from others and experience to resolve issues in the best interest of the program and business.Conducts risk analysis/evaluation -- determine risk areas to cost or schedule and mitigate. Owns risk/management plan.Must abide by and enforce all organizational policies and procedures.

Directly supervises 2 to 4 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. When entering the shipyard, the work environment is not climate-controlled and there is exposure to moving equipment, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.Ten (10+) years of progressive responsibility in administration, management control and/or accounting of technical/professional services in the shipbuilding industry.Five (5+) years experience in successful project leadership, demonstrating strong organizational and leadership skills and/or supervisory role with a group of 2 or more.Possess a broad working knowledge of marine systems including but not limited to: structural, outfitting, machinery, hydraulics, electrical, mechanical, electronics, HVAC, etc..

SKILLS:
