Insight Global is hiring for a Project Developer to join one of our energy infrastructure clients to support the development phase of complex, utility-scale decarbonization projects- particularly greenfield wind energy initiatives. This is a full-time opportunity with their growing up and coming San Diego team. With this being a lean team, the intention is to provide long term career progression to individuals who join.

On this team, the Project Developer will be integrated in projects every step of the way from ground break to completion. This role involves daily oversight and coordination with internal teams and external resources to ensure project success. Key responsibilities include supporting market analysis, conceptualizing projects, overseeing grid studies, directing wind and solar resource assessments, evaluating sites, acquiring wind leases and rights-of-way, managing environmental and regulatory permitting, supporting public relations, interfacing with engineering teams, and assisting with contract negotiations.

Required Skills & Experience- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, environment, or related- 1+ years of experience in a related role working on utility scale wind development projects- Demonstrated ability to assist in land lease negotiations, site evaluations, ensuring permitting regulations are met- Wind Energy Graduate Certificate Program completion- Excellent communication, time management, and analytical skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience- Wind power development experience on projects in Texas- Wind Energy Graduate Certificate Program at Texas Tech University preferred
