Certification Details

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.Traveler must pass the BCA testing during the first week of assignment.Travelers that do not pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) test will be dismissed.Job Details

75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS -Please only submit candidates that are aware of their submission to our facility.Please do not allow candidates to contact facility.2 years experience current required in a 15 plus bed intensive care unit required.Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast-paced environment.Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.When submitting candidates include a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.Job Requirements

Please only submit candidates with an active NM or compact license.Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval.Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.Schedule Information

12 hour varied position - Start time - 0700/1900On call, weekends, holidays and float as needed - At alternate locationWill float to progressive care unit and med/surg.Will float to ICU to care for tele patients boarding in ICU.Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.Unit Specific Information

Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
