job summary:A Capital Project Supervisor is needed for a leading utility south of the Washington, DC metro area (south of Waldorf, MD). The Capital Project Supervisor oversees large-scale water and wastewater engineering projects, ensuring their successful completion within budget and on time. This role involves supervising project teams, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Qualified candidate should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A project management certification or a Professional Engineer license is desirable. responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of assigned capital projects
Develop detailed scopes of work and cost estimates for projects
Supervise, coach, and counsel capital staff
Monitor project schedules and budgets, implementing corrective actions when necessary
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
Prepare and present periodic reports on project progressqualifications:
