Who we are looking forThe Global Liquidity Management (GLM) Group, within the Global Treasury organization, oversees State Street’s liquidity planning, monitoring, analytics, and regulatory reporting globally. The group manages regulatory ratios such as the LCR, NSFR as well as the liquidity buffer requirements resulting from its Internal Liquidity Stress testing (ILST) and Recovery and Resolution planning (RRP) framework. The group is also responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements such as the daily FR2052a and associated public disclosures. We work collaboratively with the Global Treasury Risk Management (GTRM) function to ensure we are managing liquidity within firm policies, limits and risk tolerance while meeting regulatory expectations promulgated by the Federal Reserve, the FDIC and other regulators globally. Join us if making your mark in the financial services industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.What you will be responsible forEstablish the group's comprehensive governance, communication, and response strategy for regulatory, supervisory, and internal oversight matters.Lead gap assessments against regulatory expectations (Reg YY, Reg WW, SR 10-6, SR 12-7, etc.).Employ strong knowledge, understanding, and awareness of compliance and regulation to advise, develop, and evolve internal policies, procedures, and processes to meet regulatory requirements.Apply appropriate analysis and use sound judgement to make strategic and operational recommendations to meet regulatory compliance goals and objectives.Track, manage, and respond to both internal and external regulatory, compliance, risk, and audit inquiries.Frame formal responses with detailed documentation and evidence to close out any open issues.Ensure all policies, controls, and procedures are adhered to and evidence is documented.Support the execution of the Material Liquidity Risk Identification process.Foster an environment that promotes compliance, continuous improvement, appropriate and effective controls, self-detection, and remediation.Develop a deep understanding of liquidity management and its dependencies and partnership with groups across treasury, finance, and risk.What we valueThoughtful team lead capable of setting priorities for the team.Team management skills, delegation, and motivational attitude are essential to success.Ability to proactively resolve issues by working with other teams.Independent worker that takes ownership of responsibilities and holds their work to a higher standard.Education & Preferred QualificationsBA/BS degree in a related field (Finance, Economics, Accounting, etc.) M.Sc. preferred.CFA and/or FRM preferred.8+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, with specific experience in Liquidity Management.Strong knowledge of the banking regulatory environment (Reg YY, Reg WW, SR 10-6, SR 12-7, etc.).Extensive experience working with US regulators, particularly in the liquidity space.Strong written, verbal communication, and time management skills.Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, delegate team tasks while maintaining focus on priorities and meet deadlines in a demanding and deadline-oriented environment.Strong organizational and project management skills.Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, innovative, and a self-starter and team player with a high level of initiative.Are you the right candidate?
