OverviewBlue Yonder, a leading supply chain software company, is seeking a Product Director to join our Product Management team. This is a highly visible and impactful role responsible for leading the development and execution of our product strategy. The Product Director will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing, to bring new products to market that meet the needs of our customers.
Acts as PMG Representative to key customers by providing thought leadership on solutions to business problems. Cares for and develops key customer and industry relationships by conducting customer and prospect needs research and maintaining key industry contacts. Collaborates with product teams to translate strategic direction into clear product objectives and roadmaps. Communicates product strategies and direction in a compelling manner. If manager, evaluates and determines optimal resource assignments for PMG associates. Ensures team roles, responsibilities and structure are effective. Evaluates client suitability for beta and client-funded partnerships. Manages and improves key customer and industry interaction. Manages and improves PMG processes by championing process improvement initiatives within or across applicable business units and within Product Management. Provides a clear vision and compelling leadership to all product stakeholders on product strategies and solutions to business problems. Provides strategic product/solution leadership by collaborating with Industry team to set product strategic direction and communicating this direction to all stakeholders. Researches, evaluates and recommends product packaging/bundling/pricing alternatives and third-party partnerships to Executive team.
What you’ll do
Lead the development and execution of the product strategy for Blue Yonder’s Retail supply chain software products.
Conduct market research and stay current with industry trends and competitor activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are delivered on time and meet customer needs.
Define and prioritize product roadmap, gather customer requirements, and make data-driven recommendations for product enhancements.
Measure and analyze the success of product launches and make recommendations for future improvements.
Communicate product vision and strategy to stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Gain an understanding of the Blue Yonder stakeholders and engage collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on supply chain software in Retail vertical specifically to Grocery chains.
Experience in Grocery Retail as a practitioner a must, with broader Retail across all verticals experience an advantage.
Proven track record of bringing software products to market successfully.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working in Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of the supply chain software industry and the competitive landscape.
Salary and BenefitsSalary range for this position: $130,700 - $187,000. The salary range information provided reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
