UltraViolet Cyber is headquartered in McLean, Virginia, with global offices across the U.S. and in India.UltraViolet Cyber is looking for a Senior Product Manager with expert-level skills in cybersecurity and leading platform development for our product used by our Managed Detection & Response, SOC, and Penetration Testing customers. The selected candidate will leverage experience and strong written and verbal communications skills to help our clients improve the security of their IT systems. This multi-faceted role involves many aspects of cybersecurity and requires a candidate to apply years’ experience and continued personal development to lead several initiatives for UltraViolet's Platform Engineering team and will be looked to as the Scrum leader, helping define the next platform generation of what we are developing, why we are developing the platform, and how we are developing it for our customer base.What You'll Do:

Be the “voice of the customer” representing customer and user feedback on product/service, while synthesizing those insights into clear requirements to improve our offering.Driving a collaborative approach to building our product, roadmap, and prioritization to ensure customer and stakeholder needs are met.Prioritize our backlog, ensuring that we consider both business and technical needs in the prioritization process.Develop and drive product metrics and outcomes.Helping to mature our product development and product launch processes (including internal communication regarding product launches) - we embrace “little a” agile.Assess new and emerging technologies, and evaluate how our existing portfolio can leverage these new technologies.Working cross-functionally, represent the voice of the customer to Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Business Development.What You Have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relative field is desired.10+ years' experience in Information Technology and/or Cybersecurity.5+ years' experience as a Product Manager with a focus in cybersecurity platform development.Experience in agile environments.Experience in various areas of hands-on cybersecurity. Bonus: working with both product and services companies.Experience working with SaaS solutions, with an understanding of how cloud infrastructure drives product decisions/outcomes.A test-learn-iterate mindset.Previous experience working in an agile development environment, helping to mature the team and process.Demonstrated experience providing strong product leadership for complex early-stage projects.Passionate and skilled in gathering and interpreting user perspective so that requirements and design reflect real needs. Experience working with users with a range of functional needs.Experience collaborating with internal and external technology partners as well as non-technical stakeholders.Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, influence-management, and problem-solving skills.Tool Knowledge: Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency, Confluence, and Jira product tools.UltraViolet Cyber maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect our company's differing products, services, industries and lines of business.
