A bit about us:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial litigation and a passion for the legal profession. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of litigation matters, including dispute resolution, risk management, and legal research. - Handle a wide variety of commercial litigation matters, including managing all aspects of litigation from inception through trial and appeal.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop litigation strategies and ensure effective case management.
- Represent the firm and its clients in court hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting commercial litigation.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on litigation-related matters.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Participate in business development activities, including networking events, seminars, and conferences.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation.
- Proven track record of successfully managing litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of professionalism and ethical integrity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Proficiency in using legal research databases and software.
- Commitment to providing high-quality legal services and achieving client satisfaction.
