A bit about us:We are a medical malpractice defense firm with offices in Columbus and Dayton, is seeking a candidate to fill a litigation associate attorney position. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in all aspects of litigation (e.g.: depositions, written discovery, legal research and writing, trial preparation, trial presentation, and client reporting). Candidate must be highly motivated and results-oriented, with excellent interpersonal communication, analytical, writing and research skills. Experience in medical malpractice is preferred.

Responsibilities:
As an Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Negotiating settlements and representing clients in court proceedings.

- Providing legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring their rights and interests are adequately protected.
- Participating in business development activities to expand the firm's client base.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Associate Attorney position should possess the following qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical malpractice defense litigation.
- Exceptional knowledge of federal and state laws related to healthcare and medical malpractice.
- Proven track record of representing clients in court and achieving favorable outcomes.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication abilities.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
