Join us...make a difference.Responsibilities007190 This position is onsite in our Jefferson Specialty Pharmacy location: 3500 Horizon Dr, King of Prussia, PA 19406 PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Jefferson Specialty Pharmacy Receptionist performs receptionist, front desk duties for the Jefferson Specialty Pharmacy. This includes but is not limited to coordinating pharmacy and office activities, meetings and schedule coordination, answering phones, welcoming guests to the Department,facilitating mail and other packages . In addition, the Receptionist assists the JSP Director and Management team with administrative tasks as assigned.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Tracking, scanning and reconciliation of patient delivery tickets and associated functions. Welcomes all guests that present themselves to the Jefferson Specialty Pharmacy Answers all external calls coming into the department, including those of the Director and Manager Coordinates pickup, delivery and distribution of important correspondence, mail and packages Photocopies and distributes materials as requested Maintains the office supplies for the department Assists in the updating of various departmental databases Assists with appointment setting Answers telephones courteously, directing calls to appropriate personnel; takes messages or provides general information to callers. Receives and sorts department mail, forwarding it to appropriate personnel. Receives and greets visitors to department in an courteous manner, directing them to appropriate department/administrative staff member. Completes purchase requests for department supplies, and places service calls for office equipment as necessary. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the Jefferson values.QualificationsINTERNAL/EXTERNAL CONTACTS:Patients, Caregivers, Employees, Manufacturers RepresentativesEDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:High School diploma or GED. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION:EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Knowledge of telephone etiquette, skill in providing customer service, ability to speak clearly, keyboard skills with the ability to multi-task, and experience with Microsoft office.
