Click apply to start the process!Job Type: Full-timePay: From $22.50 an hour plus $1 Shift DifferentialSchedule: Monday- Friday: 11PM-7AMREPORTS TO: Corrugator Supervisor/LeadmanSUMMARYResponsible for all activities associated with safely operating and caring for the clamp truck.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTake rolls of paper to the corrugator, always taking buttrolls first, and record all rolls taken to the corrugator on the proper forms.Learn to read corrugator lineups.Mark buttrolls as to the size, diameter, lineal footage, and grade before returning to stock.Unload rolls from trailers. Check for and note any physical damage to the rolls.Scan rolls to location.Use Mill wide for consumption and roll stock receipts.Safely operate the clamp truck.Complete clamp truck inspection report at the beginning of each shift and turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.Keep the warehouse organized and clean.Turn in roll stock tallies to the corrugator supervisor or Scheduling Department.Maximize equipment utilization by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.Adheres to daily production schedule. Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, delivery, and service goals.Assist the corrugator operator as instructed by supervision.Read related MSDS and learn proper response for emergency chemical spills or skin contact.Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and good housekeeping.Additional duties may be assigned by management.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or GED.LANGUAGE SKILLSAble to read and follow instructions on factory masters.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAble to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume, and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math.REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.TECHNICAL SKILLSThe individual must have a working knowledge of the following:Equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.
