Registered Nurse - ICU @ Harborview Medical Center

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: ICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Guaranteed Hours: Facility can call off one shift per two-week pay period Experience: Minimum 2 years of critical care and prior travel experience required License: Compact License or WA single state license is acceptable Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH (TNCC preferred but not required) Must-Have: EPIC experience is a plus; must pass EKG exam with an 80% to meet requirements Job Description: - Provide high-level care in a unique flex unit created for overflow lower acuity ICU and acute care patients.- Typical patient ratios are 1:1-2 for ICU and 1:3-5 for acute care non-tele patients.- Handle a diverse range of diagnoses including trauma, medicine, neuro, and cardiac.- Be flexible with weekend requirements, expected every other weekend.- Floating to other ICUs and surrounding areas within the hospital is expected.- Maintain professional conduct in a high-volume, high-acuity teaching and trauma facility.- Complete required modules pre-start and during orientation.- Orientation generally includes two sessions per month for RNs.- Avoid travel pairs; preference for references from direct supervisors.
