Analyzes business process and practices in an effort to focus the design and implementation of information technology solutions that meet customer needs and business initiatives. Collaborates on an on-going basis with the Programmer/Analysts. Attachment:Position Specific DescriptionIn this position, you will be responsible for conducting and facilitating workshops with business partners to gather requirements for complex business procedures for GIS Workflows. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GIS and poses business process expertise and can leverage this knowledge to design and deliver the necessary solutions. This is a key position in a fast paced, high-tech company. Experience at a Utility company is highly desired.The ideal candidate will also:Gather and facilitate business process discussions, solution design and documentation, configuration, test and end-user supportProvide inputs in promoting and implementing best-practice solutions (business processes and GIS functionality): proactively address problems and troubleshoot Project issuesWork closely with the operations teammates and business partners to fully understand the user functionality, pain points and areas of improvements within our applicationsAssist and help with the delivery of special projects and small enhancements and assist in reviewing and improving policies and proceduresReview statistics, validate or challenge the way things have always been done and identify areas for process and/or support tool improvements and efficiencies.Define business workflows and establish performance benchmarks for project requirements.Job OverviewEmployees in this role conduct complex operational analyses and lead medium to large project teams that support informed decision making within the business unit.Job Duties & Responsibilities
