The Sanitation Technician identifies, cleans, and sanitizes areas that need specific attention that may or may not be included in the Master Sanitation Program. This position is responsible for operating equipment in the process of cheese rework and also all tasks required to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the cheese production area. The Sanitation Technician will identify, clean/sanitize areas that need specific attention. $20.54/hour$1.50 Shift DifferentialDouble Time on Sundays and holidaysMonday - Friday / Every other weekend6:00 am - 2:00 pmWhat you need to join our team: Ability to walk, stand, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.Assist Elevated Finishing Vats operations as needed.Perform Clean In Place for both belts in a timely manner.Trouble shoot and maintain machinery.Maintain and inspect work area.Understand and comply with all Quality Assurance policies, immediately reporting any potential food safety issues to management.Successfully perform all tasks required on the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).Clean and sanitize all parts and areas of the department including walls, floors and equipment.Gather, weigh, and correctly report all animal feed and/or floor cheese.Report any safety, sanitation and/or equipment problems to Supervisor.No experience required; in house training providedWillingness to learn and work as a teamDesire to grow with a stable companyWhere you'll be working: Le Sueur, MNOur presence in Le Sueur, MN, consists of the following facilities: Le Sueur Cheese, Le Sueur Ingredients, Le Sueur Protein Research Center and the Le Sueur Business Office. Our cheese facility produces various types of cheese, including cheddar, monterey jack, asiago, fontina, parmesan and romano. Our ingredients facility runs various whey streams, including; whey protein isolate (WPI), whey protein concentrate 34 (WPC 34), whey protein concentrate 80 (WPC 80) and both pharma and food-grade lactose.Agropur's US operations produce 1 billion pounds of quality, award-winning cheese each year.
