This role requires a tech-savvy individual who is adept at providing technical support for COTS packages and is well-versed in system administration tasks.What you'll be doing...Performing system administrator tasks including system installation, application component configuration on Windows and Linux environments.Gathering and documenting requirements, researching and presenting options, analyzing and recommending solutions for both ongoing application changes and new efforts.Ensuring application and infrastructure security in compliance with Federal, State, and industry standards.Collaborating with vendors, customers, and other technical areas to understand and execute projects and changes timely.Maintaining various COTS applications and configuring changes as required for some SAAS products.The right person has...Proficiency and knowledge in Windows Server administration (2016 and later), RHEL 7.0 and above, Cloud Infrastructure Azure/AWS/GCP, Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL Management Studio, Dynatrace/ Similar debug tools, XML, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, Visio, SSO (SAML, OAuth, OpenID), Network knowledge LAN/WAN, Architecture, Firewalls, IOT, etc.Thorough analytical skills and extensive experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, monitoring, networks, firewalls, architecture including diagraming, remediating vulnerabilities and other application and server support duties.An inclusive style with the ability to collaborate and build meaningful relationships at all levels and functions of the organization.
