Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon
to expand our pediatric orthopedic and scoliosis program. You would be a member ofa dynamic, physician-led multi-specialty medical group. The Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon will provide orthopedic specific care to children between the ages of 0-18yrs, and patients with a pediatric diagnosis up to the age of 21yrs. This care will encompass all aspects of general pediatric orthopedics and scoliosis.You will work closely with Pediatricians, Nurses, Peds Hospitalists and Subspecialists. You can expect a highly supportive leadership committed to providing resources to keep patients as the center focus of care.Renown Children's Hospital
is the only children's hospital in Northern Nevada. We recently completed an expansion in 2023 to include a state-of-the-art NICU, PICU and pediatric ward providing care to children in northern Nevada.Due to high demand for pediatric Orthopedics and scoliosis, we are expanding our department. With plans to continue expansion over the next several years.This is a growing dynamic practice in one of the fastest growing cities in the United States. Reno maintains its small city charm while providing many amenities seen in larger metropolitan areas. In addition to being the "biggest little city", Reno is known for its year-round outdoor activities, including world-class skiing, hiking and outdoor adventures. If you prefer your adventures in the city, there are multiple festivals throughout the year, which include the National Reno Rodeo, Art town and "Burning man" to name a few.Position Qualifications:Must be board certified or board eligible by the American board of orthopedic surgeonsCompleted an accredited 1-year Pediatric Orthopedic FellowshipCompleted an accredited Orthopedic Residency ProgramUnrestricted Nevada LicenseDEA and CPR certificationNevada Pharmacy LicenseDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
