This position also has the responsibility of loading cylinders for the transfer to inter-branch locations.Duties:Follow Company SOPs in the manufacturing, storing, and loading, and unloading of hazardous materials as well as safety and personnel SOPs and ensures compliance with CGMP, HazMat, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies as applicableEnsure appropriate storage and segregation of both empty/full and industrial/medical cylindersMove compressed gas or liquid cylinders safelyLoad and unload cylinders and other materials, including loading inter-branch cylinder transferReport all problems to the facility managerMaintain cleanliness of work areaOperate a forkliftPerform manual labor as assignedPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma/GEDAble to read and write EnglishAble to move compressed gas and liquid cylindersAble to lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)Must be mechanically-inclinedMust be able to pass forklift operation/safety trainingAbout Us:American Welding & Gas is one of the largest independent packaged gas companies in the U.S., with 78 branch locations, 18 gas fill plants in 20 states, stretching from Montana to Florida.
