As a Machinist Technician:
Operate CNC machines to produce machined components based on dimensional drawings and blueprintsExecute tasks with exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanshipShowcase a strong mechanical aptitude and a quick ability to learn new skillsAlways prioritize safety, adhering to the machine shop and manufacturing safety practicesCollaborate seamlessly with team members to ensure efficient production workflowsExhibit dependability and a strong work ethic within a minimum 40-hour workweekDemonstrate effective communication skills in English, both written and spokenPerform tasks that may involve lifting materials weighing up to 50 lbs. whilestanding throughout the dayUtilize basic Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and email skills for documentationEmbrace problem-solving and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Prior experience operating manual lathes and/or millsExperience with live tooling is a plusProficiency in machining software and intermediate to advanced GD&T understandingComfort with hands-on mechanical activitiesAbility to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervisionExposure to a factory/production/manufacturing setting is beneficialStrong problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to challenges
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $25.00 HOURLY
