RESPONSIBILITIES: \n
Telemetry RNs (Tele RNs) consult with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans. \u00a0The Tele RN utilizes machines that measure a patient\u2019s heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, as well as blood oxygen levels and electrocardiogram information. - Tele RNs prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications and report an adverse reaction to medications in accordance with policies \n
- Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment of patient \n
- Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the appropriate medical team member \n
- Monitor specialized equipment used on patients and interpret electronic displays \n
