Responsibilities and Qualification

Helps to requisitions supplies through County purchasing system and maintains department inventory.Creates and maintains clients files with accurate records for attorneys.Communicates with clients and their families; Responds to incoming inquiries by taking messages, answering questions and directing calls to appropriate person or area.Researches different software systems to acquire accurate information for attorneys.Helps prepare and processes bi-weekly payroll for department.Creates and maintains department forms for staff use.Gathers appropriate data and documentation for quarterly and annual reports and/or budgets, audits, and reviews by county, state and federal agencies.Assists attorneys with operation of department by performing administrative functions.Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma/GED.Four years of responsible office/clerical experience.Highly advanced computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and variety of software applications.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, department and elected officials.Strong verbal and written communication and organization skills.

SALARY RANGE:

$17.95 - $22.44 per hour based on qualifications
