What You'll Be Serving Up:

Bring your tech expertise to the table and lead our Quality Assurance team to make sure our KFC U.S. restaurants-from Digital eCommerce to in-store POS-are serving up top-notch, reliable experiences. You'll ensure our products meet technical specs and quality standards while coaching a crew of developers, architects, and analysts to continuously improve the tech behind the best chicken in the world.

Here's How You'll Spice Things Up:Lead & Coach Your Squad:

Guide a team of talented Azure cloud developers, quality assurance analysts, architects, and a product owner, making sure they've got everything they need to deliver world-class tech solutions.Support Development Projects:

Oversee the development of everything from legacy systems to point-of-sale kiosks, credit card devices, and online ordering systems, ensuring all projects meet our high standards.Cloud Menu Mastery:

Own the creation and ongoing development of cloud-based menu generation systems, serving both KFC's aggregator partners and internal resources.Boost Speed & Accuracy:

Lead initiatives that drive improvements in product velocity and accuracy, ensuring our tech is always ahead of the game.Innovate with Software Solutions:

Define and roll out software enhancements that make our U.S. operations faster and more efficient, especially for POS and cloud systems.Collaborate with Third-Party Partners:

Work hand-in-hand with our aggregating partners to refine and enhance interfaces between systems, making sure everyone's on the same page.Sync Up with Yum.Dev:

Partner with the Yum.Dev team to align on release schedules, so updates roll out smoothly across our platforms.Manage Test Environments:

Keep test environments in tip-top shape, ensuring they're ready to support all ongoing projects and development needs.Team Member Experience:

Align with the back-of-house team to create shared tools that deliver world-class experiences for our restaurant team members.Release Updates:

Provide regular updates to the broader team and stakeholders about each breaking change release.SRE Oversight:

Guide our System Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure we meet SLAs for eCommerce and mobile performance, with limited downtime.Uptime Champion:

Collaborate with SRE and Infrastructure teams to keep our consumer-facing tech running smoothly.POS & Payment Release Leader:

Take charge of legacy POS and payment release processes, ensuring minimal interruptions in restaurant operations.What You Bring to the Table:

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent education/professional experience.Experience:

8+ years in a related field, with a solid ability to work independently and troubleshoot tech issues.Technical Skills:

Basic knowledge of SQL Server, query writing, and experience with unit, integration, and functional tests.Problem-Solving Guru:

Strong analytical thinking and judgment, with a collaborative approach to solving complex challenges.Accountability:

You take personal responsibility for high-quality work and inspire the same dedication in your team.
