Location: Food Production Plant at 4400 96th St. Omaha, NE 68127

Day & Hours: 6:00am until 2:30pm Monday through Friday 40 hours per week. Full time days. Hours are based on business needs.

You will work in an exceptionally clean facility with easy and safe-to-use high tech machinery. We are extremely proud that all three of our production plants have received the prestigious Star Safety Award through the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program. This award is highly regarded and sets us apart in the Omaha Area.

You will normally have nights and weekends free. Start in the morning and end in the afternoon.

Job Summary:

* Verifies the accuracy of specifications and weights of all incoming, outgoing and delivery shipments. Stocks and rotates raw materials. Responsible for inventory and all paperwork on shipping and receiving items.

Essential job duties include but are not limited to:

* Inspects all incoming goods for damage, adherence to specifications, weights and temperature. Verifies incoming shipments with respect to manifest and purchase order.* Prioritizes shipments based on destination, delivery schedule, and temperature requirements. Records shipments on count sheets and shipping reports; loads various shipping containers onto the appropriate trucks.* Inputs receiving into computer, notifies purchasing and plant management of discrepancies.* Operates all tools and power equipment in a safe manner.* Visually inspects shipping containers for defects that may result in customer receipt of damaged or mislabeled products.* Checks in and fills out appropriate paperwork for returned goods as necessary. Performs a variety of miscellaneous duties such as inventory, assisting with Order Assembly and other duties as assigned.* Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Must be at least 18 years of age.* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.* Shipping and receiving experience.* Certified to operate a power jack and forklift.* Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.* Able to operate a CRT and calculator.* Attention to detail required when recording, verifying, and inspecting incoming and outgoing shipments.
