Responsible for support, installation, and maintenance of Enterprise Splunk environment, using standard procedures and processes to gather, format, and load metadata
Designs, constructs, and proposes Splunk repository, infrastructure, or architectural changes and creates/maintains associated architectural specification documentation and procedures
Troubleshoots metadata/Splunk repository and functionality problems with help from peers
Conducts implementation, upgrades, and maintenance of Splunk associated infrastructure and supporting data management
Designs and constructs difficult Splunk dashboards and reports and conducts quality reviews
Performs Splunk system administration, data profiling analysis, and data quality analysis

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in Splunk administration
Experience with syslog and syslog-ng logging
Experience working with Splunk for on-prem and cloud support
Experience with Agile and DevSecOps processes
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Splunk SOAR or similar tools
Familiarity with Kubernetes for containerization and Python for scripting
Experience working within Medicare claims or for CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services)
