THE POSITION Our roster has an opening with your name on it
FanDuel is looking for a Senior Analyst to execute our commercial strategy & objectives for FanDuel's expansion into new verticals. You will play a key role on the New Ventures team, owning the product's performance tracking in addition to supporting budgeting & forecasting and day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for monitoring the business performance, spotting trends/criticalities and reporting periodically to the leadership team. This is a highly collaborative role, and you will collaborate with multiple functions within FanDuel including, but not limited to Product, Acquisition & Retention Marketing, Finance, Legal, & Analytics.
A successful candidate will be a self-motivated and organized individual with high attention to detail, can easily problem solve and is able to make quick but well-informed decisions and back them up with data driven results. THE GAME PLANEveryone on our team has a part to playDevelop standardized reporting to monitor business performance of New VentureMonitor daily performance of New Venture and identify tactical levers that ensure we deliver against our monthly financial targetsPerform analysis to derive insights that support business decisions for the New VentureInfluence the creation, execution and aftercare of improvement and optimization projects that will benefit customers, while considering profitablyAnalyze and recommend improvements to existing processes across various teams, including but not limited to Marketing, Product, Data Engineering, and Customer OperationsBe an expert of FanDuel New Venture customer experience end to end (e.g. media, registration funnel, funding, odds, UX, promos, CS) and always look for further improvementsDevelop a strong understanding of FanDuel's business, with a focus on emerging markets & trends, and the regulatory environment under which FanDuel and its competitors operateContinuously look for ways to improve FanDuel's competitive positioningAs necessary, support the broader New Ventures team in the identification, assessment, and prioritization of new product & partnership opportunitiesTHE STATSWhat we're looking for in our next teammate
3+ years' experience working in an analytical, technical or commercial field preferredBachelor's Degree in a highly numerate major (Math, Stats, Econ, etc.) or relevant experience in data and/or business analysisProficiency in SQL and Tableau/data visualization required, experience with Python or R a plusStrong analytical proficiency & Excel-based modeling experienceStrong executive presence, with experience presenting to senior leadership stakeholdersTrack record of transforming data into actionable insights and presentationsAbility to take initiative and produce results in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous environmentEffective at relationship building and sensitive to stakeholders' needsExperience working in the real-money gaming industry or in an adjacent industry preferred but not requiredKnowledge of and interest in sports and technology preferred; ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of the industry and company will be critical to successPLAYER BENEFITSWe treat our team right

The applicable salary range for this position is $92,000 - $115,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
