As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting vast datasets to generate actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will identify trends, drive process enhancements, and optimize overall business performance. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire lifecycle of analytical work, from identifying key business questions to data collection and ETL, applying diverse statistical, machine learning, and mathematical techniques, and delivering valuable insights to decision-makers. Starting at $110,000/yearESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIESJob Responsibilities:Gather, clean, and transform raw data from diverse sources into well-structured datasets suitable for analysis.Employ data models, algorithms, and statistical techniques to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets.Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and relationships to inform strategic business initiatives.Utilize statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling for forecasting, risk assessment, and optimization endeavors.Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements, establish data quality standards, and ensure data integrity throughout the analysis process.Apply data science techniques and libraries to demonstrate data's practical application to business challenges.Develop advanced quantitative models using various programs/software to support predictive assessments.Provide expertise in analytical, strategic, programmatic, and operational analysis.Articulate analytics model behavior and results in business-oriented language.Perform technical risk analysis and reliability assessments.Conduct diverse advanced analyses, sustainment, optimization, text analytics, machine learning, and parametric/non-parametric statistical models.Create, test, validate, and showcase analytical models through relevant error metrics and calibration techniques.Offer recommendations for plans, programs, strategies, policies, and budgets.Design algorithms that integrate multiple models/methods into ensembles.Utilize automation, cognitive, and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios, and provide actionable recommendations.Drive operational efficiency by maintaining data ecosystems, leveraging analytics expertise, and delivering As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights and improvements.Produce data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and data management.Contribute to the development and enhancement of data analytics frameworks, tools, and methodologies within the organization.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred.7 years of relevant experience in data analysis, data mining, or business intelligence.Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages commonly used for data manipulation and analysis.Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and strong proficiency in creating visually appealing and insightful dashboards.Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, including regression analysis, time series analysis, clustering, and classification.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and translate complex data into actionable insights.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present findings to diverse audiences.Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on accuracy and data quality.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and change focus quickly to meet business needs within a fast-paced environment.Strong customer focus and consistently performs with a sense of urgency.Authorized to work in the United States.MUST BE LOCAL TO ORLANDO
