Drives automatic and standard tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver materials or products within multiple Imperial buildings.On occasion driver may be required to do customer deliveries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drives truck to destination.Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.Maintains driver log according to I.C.C. regulationsAssists workers in loading and unloading truckInspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuelRequired to be reachable by cell phone when on dutyDuring 1st shift hoursPrimary duties: Shuttle trailers between 2 buildingsLocal BackhaulsYard Coverage

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceValid Class A CDL Driver's LicenseLANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
