What will you do?
In this role, you will be involved in the welding of metal parts and operating industrial machine tools to complete customer orders for a dynamic product line supporting various applications in industries such as agriculture, industrial conveyor systems, and power transmissions.
Key Responsibilities:
Weld metal parts using a MIG welding processMust be able to read a tape measure down to 1/16" incrementsWork from process sheets, blueprints, or other written/verbal instructions given by the supervisor to perform production tasks.Maneuver large, awkward, or heavy parts manually or with a crane.Inspect welds throughout the process and use grinding tools when necessaryWork safely and wear all required PPE for the duration of the shift.Maintain machine and work area in a clean and safe manner.Check and inspect operation against predetermined tolerances.Work in other areas or departments as assigned.Work Schedule:1st Shift, Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm2nd Shift, Sunday - Thursday 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm3rd Shift, Sunday - Thursday 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

Key Competencies:
MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent schooling preferredExperience with grinding tools and machines preferredSimple oral communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in EnglishPhysically able to handle heavy items including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning componentsWork scheduled hours and comply with the company's timekeeping policy and all other company policiesAble to consistently stand for an entire shiftAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment.General mechanical knowledge is a plusAbility to work effectively with others and be a team playerAccuracyReliabilityAbility to read a tape measure to 1/16".
